Mount Rushmore From Peter Norbeck Overlook

Piece description from the artist

Here's a view of Mount Rushmore National Memorial many travelers to the Black Hill miss. A distant view framed by spruce and pine tree forest and granite rock mountains, I captured this from the Peter Norbeck Overlook. This is in a beautiful section along the Peter Norbeck Scenic Byway which is also part of the iconic Iron Mountain Road. The iconic carved mountain featuring four US presidents appears small in this vertical landscape photograph. This is also part of Custer State Park in Keystone, South Dakota.
