Mount Rushmore Avenue Of Flags Grayscale

A black and white photograph looking down the iconic Avenue of Flags toward Mount Rushmore creates one of the most recognizable views in the Black Hills of South Dakota. The words "Avenue of Flags" are visible along the walkway as rows of all 50 states flags lead the eye toward the famous granite sculpture carved into the mountainside.

Mount Rushmore National Memorial features the towering faces of four influential United States presidents: George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln. These leaders were chosen to represent the birth, growth, development, and preservation of the nation. Located near Keystone, SD, Mount Rushmore is one of America's most visited landmarks, attracting visitors from around the world who come to experience its history, patriotic symbolism, and stunning Black Hills scenery. We went in the morning before it got crowded in 2026 during the year of the 250th Anniversary of the US Constitution.
