The golden glow of sunrise backlights the three iconic buttes of Monument Valley during a peaceful spring morning in northeastern Navajo County, Arizona. Yellow desert wildflowers brighten the foreground as a soft sun flare stretches diagonally across the scene. The East Mitten Butte, West Mitten Butte, and Merrick Butte stand in silhouette against a partly cloudy sky washed in warm gold tones. A portion of the winding dirt road through the park is visible below, adding depth and scale to the landscape and making this sunrise a perfect and unforgettable start to the day.
