Piece description from the artist
From the desert near Mexican Hat, Utah, the backside of Monument Valley showcases towering buttes and spires rising from the orange sands. Underneath a sky with soft, fluffy clouds, the massive formation known as Brigham’s Tomb dominates the scene, flanked by King-on-His-Throne and the Stagecoach Butte. Located right along the Utah and Arizona border, this classic desert vista highlights the dramatic contrast between the warm red rock landscape and the deep blue sky above. Brigham’s Tomb, named after Brigham Young, the first governor of the Utah Territory, stands as a striking landmark in this timeless panorama of the Southwest.
