Piece description from the artist
These beautiful and hardy animals survive at mind-numbingly low temperatures on the Inner Mongolian tundra in Winter. It was -35C the day this was taken but was -50C just a day earlier during a Winter blizzard. We had come across this small herd of maybe 20 horses whilst looking for the enigmatic Snowy Owl. Whilst nervous they were also highly curious of these strange foreigners in their land!
