Meditative City series is a collection of photographs collaged together to make a serene landscape. All the photos are taken within the city limits of Chicago.

While creating my ink drawing (14 new works coming soon) I listen to a ton of news and it can be draining at times. So, I decided to take breaks from my studio and explore the city while documenting my days journey. I take photos of things that appeal to me and later piece them together to make a composition of random and pixelated parts. While piecing the images together, I find myself thinking of Japanese wood block prints.
