Piece description from the artist

Long wild grasses bow and rattle in a cold spring wind. • I was exploring with my kids on a deep bank down by the river, and the grass in spots had not been crushed down by winter snow. I glanced up at these grasses hissing and rattling above me with the bleak white sky behind, and I loved their abstract sense of life and motion though they were dead.
