Several weeks prior to Hurricane Maria's malevolent arrival. I was blessed by the love of my life with a trip to Puerto Rico. These next few days, I praised the fortune I shared with my loved island with my beloved ones…
On the first morning, I woke up early so that I may experience a refreshing sunrise in Old San Juan. After walking around Old San Juan for several hours observing and absorbing my wonderful culture I began to wonder why it had taken me so long to come back. Regardless, I decided I would attempt to come back home more often… 10 years – It was my first time back since 2007 but as expected Puerto Rico's atmosphere enchanted me as much as it energized me. "I pray that my final days are here home en el Borinquen."
