To make the best of my final days living in Snoqualmie, Washington. I have made it my mission to make as much art as possible from its awe-inspiring landscape. One of my favorite places within 15 minutes is Rattlesnake Lake. And, in this image of this magical lake, I again make the tree I called Dendron Solus a focal point. I composed the image in such a way as to encourage your eyes to move throughout the scene.
As the sun began to set behind Rattlesnake Mountain, a nicely formed sun flare appeared to punctuate the moment. Although this is not one of my most contrast or color-driven images, it is one of my preferred ones. An image that I feel documents this location's unique natural beauty.
