This painting is part of a series of paintings that focus on color, transparency, and hidden text. The painting was made by layering oil paint and scraping it off to create texture and thin layers of color.
Lilly Saywitz is a Chicago native living and working in Knoxville, TN where she is activly pursuing an MFA in Painting from the University of Tennessee. She loves shape, color, and disco music. Lilly has shown in Boston MA, Knoxville TN, and Chicago IL and will open her first solo show "Untitled Fish Project" in October 2020.
