Sauntering through the streets of Paris, I stumbled upon a section of fencing covered in what is affectionately known as 'Love Locks'. Walking past moments of love and dedication in real time like snapshots of happily ever afters. Some new, some old, all filled with wonderful what ifs.
Vanessa 'Venusian' Edwards is a Brooklyn-based visual artist, photographer, and Temple alumna who thrives on color, concept, and creativity. Through visually stimulating editing, she loves to emphasize the aspect of story and human emotion in any single photograph. Her favorite saying regarding her work is "human emotion is a lost art", which is something she aims to capture in every shot.
Today she is collaborating with brands and artists across industries to bring visionary ideas to life, exploring herbology and the ceremony of drinking tea, and exploring somatic movement through practice and performance.
