Piece description from the artist
Living in East New York in the winter was truly a special experience. There is a certain cold, a certain loneliness that exists there that feels abandoned. A persistent calm fills the streets with melancholy and intrigue. As snow cascades down onto the homes and sidewalks, there is a new majesty that blankets the otherwise forgotten section of the city. The white snow highlights the best and worst qualities of the neglected community.
