Leafy sea-dragons are related to sea horses. They have leafy camouflage that allows them to blend into surrounding seaweed. They are about 13 inches long and can be found in the waters around Australia. I illustrated this leafy sea-dragon as part of my 100 Days of Fish series.
Taryn Johnson is an illustrator, animator, and maker of things based in Massachusetts.
