Piece description from the artist
A breathtaking, expansive vista of the Henry Mountains from Larb Hollow Overlook in Teasdale, Utah. Sitting at an elevation of around 9,000 feet, this scenic viewpoint reveals sweeping views of southeastern Utah, including the dramatic Waterpocket Fold within Capitol Reef National Park. A soft atmospheric haze casts the mountains in cool blue tones, while traces of snow still cling to the peaks, offering a gentle reminder of winter’s lingering presence. In the foreground, small yellow wildflowers add a fresh pop of color, signaling the quiet arrival of spring.
Located near Fishlake National Forest, the overlook lies along Scenic Byway 12, one of Utah’s most celebrated routes, known for its dramatic elevation changes, vast panoramas, and unforgettable high desert scenery.
