Kenmore Square Citgo Color

Piece description from the artist

A pen and ink drawing of the historic Citgo sign, towering over Kenmore Square in Boston, Massachusetts. Historic Kenmore Square is the home of the Red Sox and Boston University. The 60 foot Citgo sign lights up and flashes its many vibrant colors at night as it hovers over the square, and can be seen from Fenway Park as well. During the energy crisis in the 70's they actually turned the sign off for 4 years, but it was eventually plugged back in to most everyone's delight.
I used 5 sizes of technical drawing pens to create the art, and you may notice that there isn't a straight line anywhere to be found, since every line is drawn freehand. The drawing took about 30+ hours to complete, and was done over a month-long period in 2014.
I'm honored if you choose to display my art. I hope you enjoy it.
