Bostons st germain street 1 dalton tower

Boston's St. Germain Street & 1 Dalton Tower

Piece description from the artist

A pen and ink drawing of St. Germain Street in Boston, with One Dalton Tower in the background. After presenting this drawing to the public, I was asked several times "why draw St. Germain?" The obvious answer is that it is a very cool street and displays classic Boston architecture with much more modern buildings poised at the Eastern end of it. Between the gaslights, the brick sidewalks, the funky road pavers and the few trees here and there, it presented the perfect subject to capture in pen & ink. The newly built 742 foot tall One Dalton Tower creates a stark contrast with the old school St. Germain, but it all seems to work in harmony. Also, perhaps you lived there when attending the Berklee College of Music and have a lot of memories of that street? Enjoy the art.
