In this work, the fabric is no longer merely a surface element—it is deeply woven into the artwork, both literally and metaphorically. Most of my pieces involve sewing, but here I’ve embraced layers of stitching to make the fabric feel like an integral part of the composition, not just something that sits on top. The visible stitching, a textural element throughout, creates a palpable sense of connection and depth, inviting viewers to engage with the piece in a tactile way. This method makes the artwork feel cohesive, as if the fabric and thread are as much a part of the emotional journey as the colors and shapes themselves.

"Journey Through Silence" is a meditation on how we navigate through life’s quieter, introspective phases. The layers of sewing mirror the complex, often hidden layers of our personal growth, while the visible stitches symbolize the small, yet essential, steps that bind it all together.
