A beautiful autumn afternoon view of a flowing waterfall along Capps Creek behind the historic Jolly Mill in Pierce City, Missouri, USA. A curved tree grows from the riverbank behind the mill, its branches reaching and hanging over the water and in front of the falls. Vibrant fall foliage lines the creek, creating a warm display of gold, orange, and red.
The Jolly Mill Park area, once part of the 19th-century town of Jollification, Missouri, has been restored with historic buildings and scenic walking areas that preserve the charm of the past. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this hidden gem in the Ozarks is a beautiful destination for nature and history lovers, as well as travelers exploring Missouri waterfalls and autumn landscapes.
