Ivy lady was created with mixed media on birchwood. Using transfer markers to transfer a digital drawing I created, onto the wood, then oil paints and stains were applied, as well as cut out paper that was glued to the wood.
I've always been an artist and painting is how I express my joy for life. Nature is my inspiration. I'm a prolific creator, with a wide range of mediums and surfaces including: encaustic wax, oil paints, alcohol inks, watercolors, acrylics, textiles, pottery, ceramic decals and glass. I live with my family in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina. We have a dog, who makes us a family of 5.
