This was the first photo of a rose I ever took. What caught my attention was the almost perfect unfolding that took place from the center to the outer rim. The color was unique and spoke of youth and first loves. So soft and so gentle. I found myself just staring at it for the longest time. In all my years since, I have not encountered such perfection in a rose. Yet.
David Gibides is a professional fine art photographer who brings people hope.
