Knowledge and nature have been influencers in my art. In Greek mythology, the Charities or Graces (Roman name) were three beautiful goddesses. Stories of the joyous abundance of Thalia come from long, long ago. Today we still benefit abundantly from classical antiquity. Imagine walking in a lush garden designed for rich, plentiful banquets and festivities.
Dorothea Sandra, EDAC is an international and national commissioned artist. Her art has appeared in the Art Review sections of House & Garden, The World Of Interiors, and the London Tatler magazines. Her work is known for its powerful abstract movements and for its beautiful evidence-based designs. Her paintings can be found in hospitals, businesses, organizations, and homes. She is also the author of 100 Days Of Happy Happy Art, Evidence-Based Design. She was recently interviewed by the International Arts + Mind Lab at the Center for Applied Neuroaesthetics, Pedersen Brain Science Institute at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine for her evidence-based design art.
