I like to work quickly. My motto when painting is the saying in poetry, "first thought best thought." This painting was done in the style of action painting where the process is a very gratifying experience.
Don’s work is a crossover between pure abstraction and references to the natural world. Color and texture are key elements in his work. His effort is to play with chaos and create balance through layers of transparent color and hue.
