Piece description from the artist
A wide overall view captures the historic Rockbridge Mill surrounded by the rustic landscape of Rockbridge, Missouri, United States. The bold red wooden mill stands out on the side as the centerpiece of the scene, with a small footbridge crossing a clear spring-fed stream in the foreground. It is autumn in the Ozarks, and the trees show their seasonal colors while some leaves have already begun to fall. Built in 1868, this vintage landmark is part of the Rainbow Trout and Game Ranch, nestled within Mark Twain National Forest just southeast of Ava, Missouri. Spring Creek flows gently behind the mill, completing this timeless Ozark setting.
