In this black and white vertical view of Secret Antelope Canyon in Page, Arizona, the light plays its magic on the towering sandstone walls. A narrow shaft of sunlight filters down into the canyon, igniting the Navajo sand rock with a brilliant glow that needs no enhancement, it’s the natural beauty of the canyon itself. The vertical composition emphasizes the height of the passageway, where the smooth curves, textures, and flowing lines of the sandstone rise upward like a sculpture shaped by time. Part of the Navajo Nation and accessible only with a Navajo guide, this sacred slot canyon offers an awe-inspiring experience and a perfect subject for fine art and landscape photography.
