Piece description from the artist
An expansive highland view of Capitol Reef National Park, captured along Utah’s All-American Scenic Byway 12, one of the state’s most breathtaking drives, celebrated for its dramatic elevation changes and sweeping panoramic vistas. This is between Torrey and Teasdale.
Evergreen pine trees blanket the rolling hills, adding rich green tones that contrast beautifully with the cool blues of the distant landscape and the partly cloudy sky. Cream-colored sandstone formations rise from the terrain, standing out against the layered landforms. The interplay of textured terrain, shifting light, and natural color contrast showcases the rugged beauty of Utah’s high desert and mountain landscapes.
