Heron Fishing By Perdido Bridge At Dawn

A beautiful blue hour morning before sunrise by the Perdido Pass Bridge in Orange Beach, Alabama, United States. This photograph captures a Great Blue Heron standing on a fish cleaning station along the walkway railing as beautiful clouds above add art to the blue sky. The bird is slightly blurred from a little movement due to the early morning long exposure. but they stayed pretty still for it which shows it's patience! The railing and walkway area look orange under the lights. The curve of the Perdido Beach Blvd bridge adds character to the waterscape. I captured this at the Perdido Pass Seawall Park. This is part of the waterway bayou that leads to the Gulf Of Mexico, or as some now call it, Gulf Of America.
