Piece description from the artist
Seeds of Hope portrays a woman returning seeds to the earth, beginning a new cycle of life through a collaboration with nature. As she plants each seed, energy flows both ways: she nurtures the soil while drawing strength and renewal from it. Inspired by moments in my own garden each spring with my children, the work celebrates the shared rhythm of care, growth, and belonging between humans and the living world. Painted in a naive style, the piece embraces a raw and unpolished simplicity that mirrors the honesty and tenderness of the act itself. This work is a metaphor for new beginnings, a gesture of hope for renewal and a livable life ahead. Through its imperfections and earthbound stillness, I hope viewers will discover their own sense of grounding, optimism, and connection to the natural world.
