The painting depicts a full-length statue of the god Dionysus. To the left are vines and bunches of grapes. The background of the canvas repeats natural colors: green leaves and wine. This work is a contemporary representation of the god Dionysus in the artist's own conceptual style. This canvas, like most other canvases of the artist, is distinguished by bright saturated colors. Varnished and signed.
Painting has been my passion since childhood. Among many different techniques oil painting is my favorite.
Themes of my paintings are as variegated as our world: cities, people, life, animals, dramatic art, nature. I am greatly influenced by such famous artists like Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Isaac Levitan, Auguste Renoir. My work was strongly influenced by Picasso. The painting Girl on the Ball made a big impression on me in my childhood.
