Walking through the jewelry district one day with my camera, I remembered thinking to myself how incredible it was to see so much commerce happening between a couple of blocks! Think NYSE but for jewelers. The sign in the window caught my attention as I passed by.
Vanessa 'Venusian' Edwards is a Brooklyn-based visual artist, photographer, and Temple alumna who thrives on color, concept, and creativity. Through visually stimulating editing, she loves to emphasize the aspect of story and human emotion in any single photograph. Her favorite saying regarding her work is "human emotion is a lost art", which is something she aims to capture in every shot.
Today she is collaborating with brands and artists across industries to bring visionary ideas to life, exploring herbology and the ceremony of drinking tea, and exploring somatic movement through practice and performance.
