When I started this piece the "fish" appeared and stuck around till completion. It's a playful yet expressive painting that has a unique color scheme.
Jacqueline Evans is a visual artist who lives and works in Vermont. Her work has been exhibited widely throughout Pennsylvania, New York, and Vermont. Using oil and cold wax as an anchor to her work, she begins with graphite, then defines. The viewer will note hints of her mark making intermingled in the works enhanced by the transparency of her pallet.
