Piece description from the artist
Fremont River flows along tall red rock cliffs in Capitol Reef National Park near Torrey, Utah, United States. I captured this vertical photograph on quiet spring season afternoon. The deep clear blue sky with a few clouds adds contrast to the red and orange cliff and sand. A few small cascades can be seen flowing up the river. It is a 95 mile long river that flows through the southeastern part of the state. It has a drainage area of 751 square miles fed by spring snowmelt off from various mountains.
