Framed By Nature Rockbridge Mill

Piece description from the artist

This photograph captures fishermen casting their lines for trout at the historic Rockbridge Mill in Rockbridge, Missouri, USA. Unlike a long exposure, the rushing water over the waterfall dam appears crisp and full of motion, highlighting the natural energy of Spring Creek. I framed the scene from behind a nearby bush, its leaves softening the edge of the composition and adding depth to the view. Built in 1868, the vibrant red mill remains the centerpiece of the Rainbow Trout and Game Ranch, a favorite Ozarks destination offering fishing, dining, and history. I captured this during the fall season. Nestled within the scenic Mark Twain National Forest, Rockbridge Mill continues to embody the rustic charm of Missouri’s countryside.
