Piece description from the artist
Gentle waves roll steadily onto the shoreline beside the Panama City Beach Russell-Fields Pier, where white foam gathers and curls along the edges of the coast as the water meets the sand. The movement of the surf takes center stage, emphasizing the natural rhythm of the Gulf as each wave breaks and drifts back out.
As one of two fishing piers in Panama City Beach, this familiar landmark extends into the Gulf of Mexico, also known as the Gulf of America, along Florida’s celebrated Emerald Coast. The foaming waves, textured shoreline, and everyday moments by the pier capture the easygoing, timeless feel of life along the Florida Panhandle.
