Piece description from the artist
This lovely moment, with the setting sun illuminating a flock of birds as they fly above a grain elevator near Bozeman, Montana, was one that I had wanted to capture for a few weeks. I had seen these birds flying near the elevator, and wanted to capture them flying above the roof of the elevator, and was happy to capture this image of the late day sun casting a warm glow in the sky. I love the simplicity of grain elevators, and how their forms are utilitarian and iconic, as they are easy to spot on the landscape of the American west, towering over the fields.

She began traveling the backroads and wilderness of Montana and the Rocky Mountain region and selling her photos professionally in galleries, shops, and online.
