Flatirons and red rocks

Flatirons and Red Rocks

Piece description from the artist

I am always amazed at the variations of rocks and rock formations in Colorado! Red sandstone rocks are everywhere, and in Boulder, against the Flatirons, there are red rocks, some small and some huge, that look like they have been thrown across the landscape by some giant. When I came across these colorful red rocks, I had to photograph them with the incredible flatirons in the background.
