A cloudy day instantly turned into a perfect lighting day for this photographer. I had hiked away from this area of the forest, but when the sun shinned through the clouds, I ran back to this area because I knew that these stark white trees would look fantastic in the sunlight! This lighting is my favorite because the dramatic darkness of the sky, with sunlight shining through is perfect!
Barbara has been exposed to art and creativity, her entire life! Her mother was an oil painter and her grandfather, not only an MD, but a talented artist as well. At the age of 16, Barbara found her creative passion looking through the lens of a Canon camera. She has be a photographer from that point on, finding subject matter from the gritty streets of Manhattan, to the alpine environment of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. She feels most at home now, among big horned sheep, moose and mountains of Colorado!
