Location: Snoqualmie Falls, WA – 2023
Several weeks following dramatic overflows, Snoqualmie Falls had returned to a calm elegance. As the sun set, I composed a series of long exposure photos, capturing the majestic falls in the dimming light.
The intricate details of the cliffs and rock walls beautifully complement this waterfall's smooth and milky flow. The interplay of light and shadow also helps to accentuate the encroaching darkness, adding profound depth to the scene.
Santos "Sanzei" López is a fine art photographer for whom the camera is the culmination of a lifelong visual journey.
