This canvas depicts the famous canals of the city of Empuribrava, which is located in the Catalan province of Girona (Spain). The lower part of the artwork depicts water. On the right are boats and houses. Tall palm trees are visible on the left. The background is a blue sky at noon. The artist tried to convey the beauty of the place. Particular attention was paid to the water surface, reflections and the sky. Varnished and signed. Oil on canvas.
Painting has been my passion since childhood. Among many different techniques oil painting is my favorite.
Themes of my paintings are as variegated as our world: cities, people, life, animals, dramatic art, nature. I am greatly influenced by such famous artists like Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Isaac Levitan, Auguste Renoir. My work was strongly influenced by Picasso. The painting Girl on the Ball made a big impression on me in my childhood.
