Sometimes, I feel like the wind doesn’t blow in the direction we ask. We’re taught that life is a mirror, that goodness always comes back, that karma will do its job, and every action gets its reward. But here I am, watching people with pure hearts, hands that have only sown kindness, and yet the storms don’t stop. Why? The love they give doesn’t translate into peace, their sacrifices aren’t paid with smiles. And I, like you, ask: where’s the balance in all of this? Because there are those who plant evil and seem to walk on clouds, while those who give nothing but love and hope remain trapped under gray skies. Could it be that karma forgets some people? Or maybe the universe makes mistakes, just like we do. I see you, those of you who’ve given more than you have, and it hurts, it hurts in my soul, to see how the sun doesn’t shine brighter for those who need it most. No, it’s not fair. The world promises us something it doesn’t always deliver. But deep down in this sadness, I want to believe that everything has a purpose, even if we don’t understand it. That maybe, just maybe, there’s something bigger behind all of this, something that will one day show us that goodness, though sometimes lost, is never forgotten. For now, I just want to tell you, to all of you who’ve given so much: don’t give up. Hope can’t die, even if the path is hard. Because when the soul is pure, the echo of its goodness always resonates, even if we don’t always hear it. And always, always, there will be a moment for the justice of the soul.

Alicia Lopez, an American painter, has brought this philosophy to life through her bold and evocative works. Having exhibited widely in both solo and group shows across the United States and Mexico, her artistic journey began in childhood. As a young girl, she would set up imaginary exhibitions for her mother, her first and most steadfast supporter.
"Without the beautiful angel God assigned me as a mom, I wouldn’t be who I am. All I am and will ever be is thanks to her. She is the strongest, kindest, and most lovable human being you will ever meet!" Alicia says, her voice brimming with love.Her mother’s encouragement laid the foundation for Alicia's passionate pursuit of art, and this deep-rooted sense of gratitude continues to fuel her work. Each of Alicia’s paintings is more than just a visual experience it’s a story. A narrative born from her desire to transform the world into a beautiful, peaceful dream. Her art seamlessly blends the realms of imagination and nature, inviting viewers to embrace the boundless beauty of the world around them.

While she works in both oils and acrylics, Alicia particularly favors acrylics for their versatility and fast-drying properties, which allow her to experiment and evolve without delay.
