A dramatic vertical urban cityscape capturing the blue hour along Rue Saint-Paul in Old Montreal, Quebec. Telephoto compression aligns the historic stone street corridor with the prominent silver dome of Marché Bonsecours and the copper spire of Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours Chapel. Warm streetlights and hanging floral displays illuminate grey limestone facades against a deep cobalt evening sky.
From the smallest details of macro to the vast panorama of a landscape, with a quick stop off at many subjects in between, Rick's passion for detail and capturing the moment has inspired him to shoot many different genres. He enjoys traveling to different parts of the world and will take his camera, even on work trips. More recently, he has been practicing creating artistic renditions of his photograph.
