Fluffy white clouds float gracefully above Pikes Peak and the rugged Rocky Mountains on a gorgeous spring day in Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States. I captured this wide scenic view from Palmer Park, a natural gem tucked within the city, famous for its dramatic sandstone formations and sweeping mountain vistas. Though the day was warmer than usual, I couldn’t resist exploring parts of the park’s 25 miles of trails to take in the incredible scenery. Spanning over 730 acres, Palmer Park is the largest park in Colorado Springs and offers some of the most stunning views of Pikes Peak, the majestic “America’s Mountain” and the highest summit in the southern Front Range of the Rockies.
