Piece description from the artist
"The mind moves in the direction of our currently dominant thoughts."
— Earl Nightingale
This photograph was shot on the top floor of a parking garage near my home in Milwaukee. I was initially struck by how one of the directional arrows seemed to point to a solid concrete wall with nothing but an empty void beyond. The other lead down and away from the ledge. Perhaps it is an apt visual representation of the current state of affairs in the world these days.
motion. Mood. Atmosphere. These are the heartbeats of my photography. From sweeping landscapes to intricate still life and captivating macros, my work is a journey – one that reveals my triumphs, struggles, beliefs, and the essence of who I am.
I'm all about spontaneity. I don't stage what I shoot; I let the world around me guide the lens. What catches my eye becomes the canvas for my story.
But the magic doesn't end when I click the shutter. That's just the beginning. I dive deeper, transforming raw images into visual tales. I add textures, enhance contrasts, and sculpt the light and shadows to evoke the emotions I felt in that very moment. It's a process of alchemy, where my heart and mind collaborate to bring my vision to life.
