Destin East Pass Jetty Calm Evening

A peaceful evening filled with warm golden light at Snorkel Beach along the East Pass in Destin, Florida, United States. I captured this photograph while standing beside a large rock jetty that extends out into the waterway, guiding the eye toward the open channel and harbor.

To the far right, the Destin Bridge and William T. Marler Bridge can be seen in the distance, quietly framing the entrance to Destin Harbor. Taken around 5 PM, the scene already had the feel of golden hour, as a mostly cloudy sky reflected soft yellow tones near the horizon, casting a warm glow across the water and shoreline.

The emerald waters of the East Pass gently move through the channel, reflecting the shifting light and creating a calm, almost dreamlike atmosphere. It was one of those evenings where everything slows down, and the beauty of the Emerald Coast really shines.

What a perfect way to spend the evening along Florida’s Panhandle.
