Desert Sculpture On Zion Trail

Piece description from the artist

A striking juniper cedar tree stands near the end of the Zion Canyon Overlook Trail, its twisted trunk splitting into a graceful V-shape as it reaches outward. Growing from little more than sand and stone, it’s incredible how this tree has grown so large in such rugged terrain. Surrounding it are the iconic red rock cliffs that define Zion National Park, glowing with color beneath a sky brushed with beautiful, artistic clouds. Located in Utah, Zion is one of the most beloved national parks in the United States, and this trail showcases views like this from start to finish, an unforgettable feast for the eyes.
