A lonely stretch of road seems to disappear into the distant Nevada mountains. Taken in the morning, I liked the way the rising sun was illuminating the road as if a path that converges on an unknown destination.
For the first four years of his life, before his family decided to make a home in Florida, Montgomery Gilchrist was raised on a sailboat off the coast Central and South America. As an adult, he taught English in Tokyo for two years then subsequently settled in Manhattan. He is a world traveler and maintains a passionate interest in the ways different people live.
