Inspiration for this painting came from landscape images of New Zealand, the oceans and amazing coastlines captivated me.
Jacqueline Evans is a visual artist who lives and works in Vermont. Her work has been exhibited widely throughout Pennsylvania, New York, and Vermont. Using oil and cold wax as an anchor to her work, she begins with graphite, then defines. The viewer will note hints of her mark making intermingled in the works enhanced by the transparency of her pallet.
