Piece description from the artist
This is a portrait of my friend Dasha. In the spirit of Punk Rock, we were running around poaching locations to shoot in this day. This was a record store with great light and a bewildered staff, which shall remain nameless. Dasha loves Art and music, just like all of us.
Jeremey splits his time between New York and California, where he relentlessly documents the world around him using large format Sinar and Nikon D800E. He is always looking at art, listening to music, and reading new things to satiate his hunger for culture and all things creative. His interests involve transcendental walks through Congress-designated Wilderness Areas with his wife and baby boy, as well as live music, third-wave coffee, and plant-based food sources. He counts among his artistic heroes Marcel Duchamp, Richard Misrach, Richard Wagner, Herbert von Karajan, John Baldessari, and Atget.
