Cormorant Fishermen on the Li River at Night 16x10

Piece description from the artist

There are very few genuine Cormorant Fishermen remaining in China. This used to be a traditional skill however it has nearly died out and these very old gentlemen don't fish commercially any more, they told me they now only fish with their birds for their families' dinner three or four times a week. Come the next generation this skill will have been lost so we are seeing the last few fishermen of their ilk.
