Piece description from the artist
A striking architectural study capturing the evolution of downtown Montreal. The historic limestone turrets and oxidized copper roofs of the Gare Windsor and Institut Economique de Montréal buildings stand in bold contrast against the modern glass grid of the ICBC tower. Balanced composition and rich masonry textures make this a sophisticated, geographically defined statement piece for corporate, legal, and executive interiors.
From the smallest details of macro to the vast panorama of a landscape, with a quick stop off at many subjects in between, Rick's passion for detail and capturing the moment has inspired him to shoot many different genres. He enjoys traveling to different parts of the world and will take his camera, even on work trips. More recently, he has been practicing creating artistic renditions of his photograph.
