A symmetrical, straight-on photograph capturing the iconic red fiberglass platform bench installation at Édouard-Montpetit station on the Montreal Metro Blue Line. Designed by Patrice Gauthier, the vibrant 1980s Pop-Art structural seating forms a bold geometric contrast against the subterranean stone masonry wall and industrial overhead lighting.
From the smallest details of macro to the vast panorama of a landscape, with a quick stop off at many subjects in between, Rick's passion for detail and capturing the moment has inspired him to shoot many different genres. He enjoys traveling to different parts of the world and will take his camera, even on work trips. More recently, he has been practicing creating artistic renditions of his photograph.
